Deir El Madina, Medinet Habu, and Nobles Tombs
Deir El-Medina is one of the most well-preserved ancient settlements in Egypt. It lies near Thebes and was once a highly skilled community of craftsmen and their families, practicing skills which were passed each generation from father to son.
Continue to visit Medinet Habu, the Mortuary Temple of Ramses II in a location on the west bank of the same name. Continue to the Nobles tombs of the great dignitaries from the middle and the new kingdom dynasties.
