Highlights:
This is a wonderful 8 nights (9 Days) Holiday where Holly family lovers can trace the steps of Virgin Mary and her son in Egypt.
It includes most of the known places where she and her son stayed at or just passed through in Cairo, and it includes also visits to some of the most important highlight of Ancient Egypt, including the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum housing the magnificent Treasures of tut Ankh Amon. It includes also the highlights of Upper Egypt in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan.
Your visit starts at Cairo and ends back at Cairo including traveling by domestic flights from Cairo to Aswan and back from Luxor to Cairo.
Day 1 Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International airport. Meet and assist through arrival formalities and transfer to your hotel. Check in, dinner on your own and overnight in Cairo at your hotel.
Day 2 Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel.
AM: Visit the Giza Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos), the Sphinx and the valley Temple of Chephren.
Lunch on your own (recommended by your guide).
PM: visit the ancient capital of Egypt “Memphis” and its funerary Necropolis of Sakkara including the step Pyramid of King Zoser and the great statue of Ramses II.
Back to your hotel, dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Cairo. [B.]
Day 3 Cairo / Old Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel.
Visit the Church of the Virgin Mary in “Haret Zuweila” (which was most probably built around the AD 10th century).
Transfer to Old Cairo to visit Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the Hanging Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus took refuge.
Visit the Church of St. Sergio’s and the Coptic Museum.
Lunch on your own (recommended by your guide).
PM: visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, housing the magnificent treasures of Tut Ankh Amon (Mummies room is not included and is subject to extra ticket to be bought on the spot).
Back to your hotel, dinner on your own and Overnight at your hotel in Cairo. [B.]
Day 4 Cairo/Aswan / Nile Cruise
Breakfast at your hotel.
Transfer by private A/C vehicle to Cairo Domestic airport to board your flight to Aswan.
Arrive Aswan airport and transfer to your Nile Cruise.
Lunch aboard your Cruise.
PM: Sail on the Nile by Felucca (Sail boat), to pass by the Nilometer, the Botanical gardens and the Elephantine Island.
Dinner and overnight aboard your Cruise. [B., L., D.]
Day 5 Aswan/ Kom Ombo/ Edfu
Breakfast aboard your Nile Cruise.
AM: Visit the High Dam, the huge unfinished obelisk and Philae Temple.
Lunch aboard your cruise.
PM: Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of the 2 Gods “Sobek” and “Hareoris”.
Sail to Edfu for dinner and overnight at Edfu. [B., L., D.]
Day 6 Edfu/ Esna/ Luxor
Breakfast aboard your Nile Cruise.
AM: Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, known as the best preserved temple in Egypt.
Lunch aboard your Nile cruise. Sail to Esna and cross Esna lock in your way to Luxor.
Dinner and overnight aboard your Nile Cruise in Luxor. [B., L., D.]
Day 7 Luxor / Cairo
Breakfast aboard your Nile Cruise.
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross the Nile to the West bank of the Thebes to visit Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens including Queen Hatshepsut’s temple at Deir El Bahary and the Colossi of Memnon.
Transfer to Luxor airport, for boarding your flight to Cairo.
Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
Dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Cairo. [B.]
Day 8 Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo.
Transfer to Matarya district to visit St. Mary’s tree for the family is believed to have rested under its shade, where the infant Jesus caused water to flow from a spring from which he drank and blessed.
Drive to Zeitoun district to visit St. Mary’s Church where it is believed she had appeared to public in April 1968.
Late afternoon, visit the world famous Khan El Khalili Bazaars.
Back to your hotel, dinner on your own and overnight at your hotel in Cairo. [B.]
Day 9 Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo.
Transfer by private A/C vehicle to Cairo International airport. Assistance through departure formalities and board your flight back home. [B.]

* Cairo: Five nights on Bed and Breakfast basis at 4* or 5* standard Hotels in Cairo, divided to 3 nights first stay and another 2 nights for your second stay after coming back from Luxor.
